Getting the Job Done

Welcome to all prospective agents, editors, publishers, and producers-- a welcome with my black Pilot pen and Moleskine notebook in hand. I offer many projects: Novels, Screenplays, Stageplays, Short Fiction, or Game designs. They just need people who need my worlds.

What I'm Doing

Adult worlds currently. My fiction appeals most to American men and women between the ages of 18-45. I work most in military, science fiction, and period drama. Most of my stories fuse literary themes with commercial plots. My writing features simple language, colloquial dialogue, and concise paragraphs. I also tuck stimulating ideas into easy prose.

Aside from fiction, I seek employment as a multimedia reviewer, with an emphasis on books, movies, and video games. To that end, I'm building a review portfolio

Overall I network and promote. Aside from mastering brianranzoni.com, I also post a writer's blog from Live Journal, and maintain artist profiles on social sites such as Facebook, My Space, and Windows Live.

What I've Done

I've read fiction and non-fiction for the last 26 years. As a college intern, I wrote, edited, or designed articles published in Benton Business, the newsletter of the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce. A member of the Amazon.com Vine program, I also write reviews--especially of books. In between, I served 8 years in the United States Navy. Today I work for the Athletic Department at Oregon State University. My stories follow these stepping stones.
